mission

Children’s Hospital Branches, Inc. (CHB), a

non-profit, raises funds for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, where all children have access to quality medical care, regardless of their background, circumstances, or a family’s ability to pay.

Our
impact

CHB has raised $50M+ for Children’s Hospital Oakland. We continue to be the sole grassroots fundraising organization for the hospital, where the money raised funds important and vital equipment and services that has saved the lives of thousands of children.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

Our funds support nearly every department within the hospital. This year, we focus on the purchase of vital equipment for the NICU. This Level IV NICU offers the highest level of medical care for newborns and premature infants available. Children's NICU is equiped to treat the most complex neonatal conditions and the most critically ill and smallest newborns from thoughout the region.

The NICU is for babies who need specialized around-the-clock care. Our patients include preemies, infants with serious birth defects, and newborns awaiting or recovering from surgery.
